Zazinto Zazinto Construction and Projects -Piggery was established in 2017 by Mr. Zinto Nkosi from Thandukhanya location. He started a small piggery business with only few pigs. The business has since blossomed in the past two years and he currently has over +50 pigs and piglets and poultry. He feeds and grows the pigs and slaughters them to sells the meat to potential butcheries and local markets around Piet Retief for income.
He applied to Vumbuka Trust 2019 for support and was supported by way of a guarantee for a R20 000 credit facility. The amount was to assist the business to buy a bigger refrigerator to store the slaughtered meat and to buy animal feed for the pigs. The business falls under the Vumbuka Trust Enterprise development support which aims to assist up and coming local Mkhondo entrepreneurs order to stimulate economic growth and create jobs given the high rate of unemployment.
